Blasphemy Against the Holy Ghost

January 8, 2012

This revelation was requested by Pastor Joe W. Green on the morning of January 8, 2012, while waiting on time for our services to begin, and was revealed to him at that time by the Holy Spirit.

I had talked the day before to my daughter, and she was asking questions about a program she had watched about a preacher in Africa, named Daniel, dying while he had a un-forgiven conflict with his wife, and he was shown that he would be going to hell if he was not raised back to life, because of his not forgiving his wife. I questioned God, that if what this Pastor said was true, then why he would go to hell for having an un-forgiven sin when he had been born again and forgiven his sins.  The Pastor was brought back to life after several days, at a meeting being held by Reinhard Bonnke.  The Pastor Daniel has appeared since then on the 700 club. This is what the Spirit revealed to me:

        1. The pastor was not going to go to hell for the un-forgiveness of his wife, but was going to hell because of his rebellion against the Holy Spirit, who was telling him to forgive his wife, as that was the blasphemy** that Jesus said was the unforgivable sin (Matthew 12:31). The Holy Spirit made it clear to me that this meant any rebellion against the leading of the Spirit.

  2. John was referring to this forgiveness of sins against the Holy Spirit in 1 John 1:9, when he said they would be forgiven when we repent and ask forgiveness.

  3. This means that although we have been born again, and all our other sins have been forgiven, past, present and future ones, it does not include sins against the Holy Spirit, as they cannot be forgiven ahead of time.

  4. This would mean if you are committing blasphemy** against the Holy Spirit’s conviction in a matter, and die during the rebellion (or Jesus comes), then you could not go to heaven, even if you are born again, as you are in rebellion against God.

  5. The Holy Spirit also said that was the reason many Christians would have to go through the Tribulation, as if they have been rebelling against the Holy Spirit, they will not rapture along with the rest of the church, and that is why there will be Christians present during the Tribulation.

These things were a completely new revelation to me, and I have never heard anyone teach these things before. It places a whole new importance on following the leading of the Holy Spirit in all cases, and shows how important God considers the obedience to Him is. These truths seem to fit the rest of God’s Word perfectly, and so I believe they are the inspired Word of God.

January 10, 2012

Pastor Joe W. Green requested this revelation on the morning of January 10, 2012, while contemplating the previous revelation of January 8, 2012.

I inquired of God as to how a born again Christian could go to hell, as he now had the born again Spirit of Jesus living in him? The Holy Spirit then begin to reveal the following:

        1. Your spirit does not go to hell, but only your soul goes to hell. I later researched this and found that in the King James Version of the bible, all 54 times it speaks of hell; it never refers to the spirit, only the soul.

        2. When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden his spirit died as God said it would, so man then did not have a spirit, only the sin nature of the devil. Hell was then used for the souls of unrighteous man to be sent to. Paradise, or Abraham’s bosom, was established for those souls that God imputed righteousness to them because of their faith in Him.

        3. This means that if a born again Christian dies while in opposition to the Holy Spirit, that he can still be sent to hell, as his soul is opposing God. It will be forgiven if he repents and asks forgiveness for the transgression.

        4. The reason that John, in the Book of Revelations, saw the souls of those killed during the Tribulation, was that they were killed without the born again spirit being in them, as the Holy Spirit was absent from earth during this time, and their souls would not be complete until the marriage supper of the Lamb.

        5. The reason that Jesus was able to defeat the devil and make a show of him, was that when Jesus was crucified on the cross, His soul took on the sins of the whole world, and then went to hell for us, but the difference was that Jesus Spirit was with the soul, and upon His resurrection and return to heaven, the devil was in big trouble. Only the Word of God had the power to separate the Spirit from the soul, so Jesus, and the Holy Angels, were able to defeat the devil and his angels completely, and cast them out of heaven onto the earth.

        6. These truths make it clear why Jesus said to be watching and ready for His return, as if we are in opposition to the Holy Spirit when He comes, then we can not rapture with the church, and since the Holy Spirit will be removed from the earth at the beginning of the Tribulation period, there will be a large fallout of the believers.

        7. Since man sinned in the Garden and our spirits died, we have not had a spirit, and when we are born again, the Spirit of Jesus comes to abide in us, and we become part of His body, the church. It is not our spirit, but Jesus spirit, so if we oppose the Holy Spirit and are sent to Hell, the Spirit of Jesus remains with Him, not our souls.

These truths show that there was some truth in both the teachings of the “once saved, always saved” teachings, and the “saved, lost, saved, lost” teachings, as you can only be saved once by being born again, but you can still blasphemy** the Holy Ghost, and be sent to hell if you have not repented and asked forgiveness. This puts a new light on many scriptures where Jesus is telling us what we need to do, as they are not optional, but necessary for us to insure our salvation, and is what we must do to work out our salvation. You cannot just be born again, and then ignore the leading of the Holy Ghost, and expect to go to heaven. Makes one want to listen to the Holy Spirit a little closer!

I truly feel all these things are from the Holy Ghost, and they seem to fit in with all the teachings in the bible. It is easy to get born again, as all you have to do is believe in Jesus as the scriptures say, but you still must follow the leading of the Holy Spirit to be able to maintain your righteous standing, and maintain your salvation. Being saved and stuck is not an option. No wonder Jesus said that few would find the narrow gate leading to salvation.

January 30, 2012 - The Holy Spirit this day, quickened to me the following:

Because of the above truths, it shows that in Acts 5:1-10 that Ananias and his wife Sapphira, when they did blasphemy and lie to the Holy Ghost, and then were confronted by Peter, that since they were in rebellion to the Holy Ghost, that they not only would go to hell, but God judged them, and struck them dead, even though they were born again Christians.  This shows that when we are rebelling against the Holy Ghost, that we are not only in danger of going to hell, but we can come under the wrath of God, the same as the unsaved people.  This puts obeying the leading of the Holy Ghost as not being optional, but necessary to maintain our salvation.  We can not expect to stay saved if we do not do the things that Jesus told us to do.  Wow!
